Kerri Rachelle, RDN, LDN, CSSD, is a highly skilled and knowledgeable Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Functional Medicine Practitioner, and Yoga and Fitness Professional pursuing a PhD as a Candidate Doctor of Integrative Medicine.

As the founder of Candid Apple: Nutrition & Functional Medicine, a premiere coaching and concierge health service based in Charlottesville, Virginia, Kerri leads a team of functional medicine and registered dietitian nutritionist professionals in providing personalized telehealth services across the United States.

For nearly 25 years in clinical practice, Kerri and her team have refined their detective skills by utilizing an array of functional diagnostic labs to help clients find the root cause of their concerns. She now leads a team doing the same thing.

Before pursuing her Candidate Doctor of Integrative Medicine, Kerri achieved her ADAPT Level 1 Evolutionary Functional Medicine at Kresser Institute of Evolutionary Medicine in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Kerri obtained a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise from Virginia Polytechnic State University in Blacksburg and a Master of Science in Nutrition from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She also completed her Dietetic Internship at the University of Virginia Health System in Charlottesville.

During this time, she co-authored the Pediatric Nutrition Support Handbook used by physicians at UVA for all aspects of pediatric care. She also contributed to research regarding hyponatremia in athletes, ergogenic aids, hydration, supplements, and the result of diet change on hypertension.

Kerri is a Licensed Dietitian in several states, including Florida, Texas, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Idaho, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Kansas, Louisiana, and North Carolina. She is currently obtaining licensure in additional states.
